Monaco Yacht Show 2026: Blue Wake™ Awarded Innovative Projects for their Contribution to a Sustainable Future
There is nothing more important than the protection of the marine environment; the vast waters of the world seek attention. Pollution has become a real problem, and industries are finding innovative solutions.
Therefore, the Monaco Yacht Show S.A.M. launched a program dedicated to recognizing practices that can drive significant change in the yachting industry. Blue Wake™ is the institutional program that, with the support of the Water Revolution Foundation, assesses the process which identifies products, services and innovative projects whose environmental impact has been demonstrated. These innovative projects are then introduced, recognized and celebrated with the show's visitors.
To be recognized by the Blue Wake™ institutional programme, the applicant must undergo an independent, strict assessment conducted by Water Revolution Foundation. This ensures the credibility and integrity of the programme. Four areas of impact are taken into consideration during the analysis of each project/solution:
Emission reduction (Fuel consumption and pollutants)
Material Circularity (Recyclability, Durability)
Eco-Design and Innovation (Life-cycle analysis)
Protection of Water and Marine Ecosystems (Wastewater management, Discharge reduction)
It is important to mention that only solutions that meet the eligibility criteria receive Blue Wake™ recognition. Being recognized by Blue Wake™ is a true testament to a measurable contribution to the sustainability of the yachts, their entire life cycle, from development through day-to-day operation. This year, Blue Wake™ proved its commitment again to sustainability, as 60 projects were validated and listed under its programme, and only 6 were selected and awarded exclusive custom-designed trophies created by talented artist Cyril Bagnost.

LUXURY SERVICES & PRODUCTS
The Winner: Bespoke Projects for Superyachts & Luxury Residences for its GreenCast recycled-monomer (R-MMA) cast acrylic for yacht interior furniture, joinery and special finishes, supplied and installed by Bespoke Projects. NAUTICAL SUPPLIER

NEW BUILD / REFIT SHIPYARD
The Winner: Amico & Co S.p.A. for its sustainable superyacht refit shipyard in Genoa: 1 MW of photovoltaic panels, shore power across all docks, permanent high-energy-efficiency sheds, on-site wastewater treatment and waste recovery through an Eco-Island with 25 sorting categories. The Winners of Blue Wake™ were honoured with the significant trophies created by talented French artist, Cyril Bagnost at his Atelier Bagnost Paris-Deauville in Normandy. The concept of this creative trophy was inspired by a yacht's wake and a whale's fin and represents the connection with the yachting world and marine environment. The purpose of creating this masterpiece is to remind us the power of the vast ocean with the deep connection to the precious marine life and the impact of our footprints we leave behind.
